Cultural Connections

Four students and their teacher will go on the journey of a lifetime. Selected from various backgrounds they all share one thing in common: a desire to learn. In February 2018 these young ladies will travel from Panama City, Panama to Orlando, Florida. They will spend two weeks completely immersed in the English language. They will be going to school, visiting universities, as well as participating in different volunteer and educational opportunities.

"Hi, I am Celin! I am 17 years old and live in Panama City. I love to learn new things! When I grow up I want to be a neuropsychologist. It is my dream to write books."

"Hi, I am Addys. I'm 16 years old and I live in Panama. I love reading and cooking. I am studying science because I want to become an oncologist. My dream is to make significant changes in people's lives, to help them find the best of themselves."

"I'm Keysi. I'm 17 years old and I live in Panama City. I like to draw and I love music. When I graduate I would like to study to be a doctor, travel the world and experience different cultures."
